When we get information about how cows are treated in the modern dairy industry, our first reaction may be to decide to become vegan. However, there are a few points that you may want to consider.

As a preparation for the launch of my upcoming book on Vedic cosmology, my previous book on the topic will be free on Kindle for the next four days. You can add it to your library. Just search for “The Intriguing Vedic Universe” in your local Amazon store. After adding the book, it will be yours forever.
This book offers a general overview of the model of the universe described in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and answers many general questions you may have on this topic. It reveals the metaphysical and multidimensional model of the universe described in the Vedas, away from the childish discussions about flat earth we often see. These topics will be deepened in the upcoming book, where we will study the descriptions of the Fifth Canto in detail.
This is the description of the previous book that you can download and read now. Apart from Amazon, it is also available here on the website:
The book explains the model of the Universe described in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and shows how it is much deeper than the discussions of flat or round Earth we often see.
I have been studying the Vedas, and especially the books of Śrīla Prabhupāda since 1992, and the enigmatic descriptions of the Universe offered in the 5th canto of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam are a topic that has always intrigued me. However, over the years I started to better understand it, helped by the research of Sadaputa’s Prabhu, Drutakarma Prabhu, and many others.
Like me, many may have curiosity about understanding the model of the Universe described in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, but many may not have the time for studying all the material available on this topic. This book is a concise but inclusive explanation of the subject, that takes out all the jargon and artificial complexity, and tries to explain the central points in simple language.
Some topics that are described in the book:
- How does the Universe described in the Srimad Bhagavatam relate to what we see in the sky?
- Does the Vedas say that the Earth is flat?
- How does the cosmology of the Vedas relate to modern science?
- Bhu-Mandala and the different planetary systems.
- Understanding the orbit of the sun as explained in the Srimad Bhagavatam.
- The realms of the Devas and Asuras.
- Time and space according to the Vedas.
- Universal cycles and how they affect our planet.
- How the cosmic dates given in the Vedas correlate to modern science.
- Are we living in a different dimension than people from previous eras?
- How a soul travels through the Universe in the cycle of samsara.
- How recent scientific discoveries are corroborating the knowledge of the Puranas. If you are an inquisitive person and are looking for answers to any of these questions, this book has something for you.
