Prabhupāda’s teachings are not the introductory stage before advanced Gauḍīya philosophy. They are the key by which Gauḍīya philosophy must be understood.
Hare krsna prabhuji.Please accept my humble obeisances.Wonderful article , yes I do think this matter is so true nowadays , we tend to "accept" Srila Prabhupad as our founder acarya but do not actually have a proper appreciation for what he gives in his books , it leads to debates such as female siksa guru controversy , fall of jiva etc . "Everything is in Prabhupadas books , manifest or unmanifest " HH Sri Srimad Gour Govinda Swami says frequently , but mostly our attention is scattered everywhere , reading nonsense commentaries and even more common is watching people speak Hari Katha who do not appreciate SP books , they think the matters he speaks of in his books are basic or trivial etc , its a dangerous trap for anyone to be in and in my humble opinion one of the biggest falldowns we could have. Yes, Prabhupada used the word “rascals”. A “rascal” is not necessarily a bad person; often a rascal is just someone who is intellectually limited; or misguided. However, even when it is the case, one is still dangerous. To say "Prabhupada said only the ABCD" is a testament one coudln't understand his teachings, even after many years of practice. Is a testament of spiritual incompetence. Do we trust an incompetent doctor? Why should we trust an incompetent devotee?
