The Vedas recommend the path of dharma, as mundane religiosity. However, this limited dharma has to ultimately be abandoned in the favor or true dharma: love of Godhead.
Sorry if I’m misunderstanding but, should we continue doing our material dharma without think in the result? Or is the best thing to leave all kind of material things and focus on Krishna and He’ll maintain us emotionally, physically as He wants?
No, we should continue to perform material duties as long as we have attachment, as He explains in the Gita, the only point is that material duties are just a process to assist us in achieving love of godhead, and not an end in themselves. When one is ready to surrender to Krsna, this becomes a higher priority than material duties.
What does "surrender" exactly mean? One can serve Krsna by performing one's dharma (and be detached). The state of consciousness with which duties are executed is more decisive and variable factor. Depending on one's consciousness, one's actions are labeled diffrently – such as karma, jnana or bhakti-yoga, is it not? We can externally perform the same duty over years, but our internal consciousness may be undergoing transformation. So the question is: is surrender necessarily about discarding activities that are based on mundane dharma, or about discarding the "I and mine" mentality? One can be surrendered premika-bhakta while externally executing worldly duties, such as Bhaktivinod Thakur. Or be completely detached like Gaura Kisora das Babaji. I would say this outward role of a suddha-bhakta depends on what Krsna's intends to show and teach through their example. The so-called mundane dharma of a pure devotee is no longer material, because it is fully dovetailed in Krsna's service in spreading Krsna consciousness. The yukta-vairagya principle is to be always followed.
Dandavats. Thank tou so much for your reply! I understood It’ll be a natural transition, is it? We’ll reach a point we won’t want anything except Krishna. I hope I understood correctly 😅
Hare krsna ji. If I'm not wrong, leave results to krsna and perform our duty sincerely as much as possible and treat bad or good, loss or profit as same at least we must try to recall ,remember and practice it even though it could be difficult . Krsna instructs same to arjuna, is it not? Pls correct me anyone if this is wrong🙏🌸

I understood it’s also material, to do your dharma is right but Krishna is the goal of everything. I wanted to understand better.
