To meet the Lord, we need to give up our royal dress. We may think that this is not relevant for us, since we are not kings, but this is just another misconception. We are all kings of the body.
We neet to follow the whole spiritual process, it is not easy. Giving up the false-ego and embracing the true, spiritual ego, is the last step of the whole process of self-realization. It becomes possible only after concluding all the previous steps.
