We often practice devotional service as a series of sprints. Although this can help us in the beginning, progressing to advanced stages requires attaining stability in our practice.
Hare Krishna Prabhu ji 🙏 , Prabhu ji i wanted to ask you sometimes I feel that we take knowledge from devotees and we do chanting everyday but the service tendency to serve vaishnavas is very difficult to obtain, because by talking so much knowledge in the heart pride comes , how to deal with that?
Everyone has his or her anarthas, that's normal. We can try to work on our weak points, if the difficulty is to serve, we can try to serve others more, starting by small things, like offering obeisances to other devotees. Often its just a question of starting
We can always pray to Gaur Nitai to gradually remove the infuence of the mode of passion in our hearts - which cause us to have this pride. Whenever we recognise this pride within us, we can earnestly beg for forgiveness within our hearts...Beg for forgiveness sincerely from Gaur-Nitai and Srila Prabhupada.
"As all surrender to Me, I reward accordingly"
So if They see that you truly want to remove it from your heart...They will gradually purify your mind, and thus there will come a time when you can progress uninterruptedly and happily
