At the end of the life of Brahma, all universes are destroyed and the souls go to rest in the body of Maha-Viṣnu. However, what exactly happens at the end of each day, before this final annihilation?
I have a doubt, as you have mentioned "Saṅkarṣaṇa emanates fire from the mouth and the Great sages goes from Maharloka to Janaloka"
1) Which planet does Saṅkarṣaṇa residency?
2) when fire is being emanates, from where the extra water is coming into the universe which is drowning the most of the planetary systems? As water is constant in any planet, and how this volume is increasing? Is it coming from Garbhodaksayi Vishnu?
The water comes from the sanvartaka clouds. That's the dual nature of the cosmic destruction, fire and torrential rains coming in succession, destroying the planets completelly.

Saṅkarṣaṇa lives at the booton on the universe, and the water comes from above.
