This is an excerpt from preface of the Krishna Book. I was wondering how does this statement apply to the supreme sacrifice of HG Hladini Mataji, because she was protecting the devotees, she was on her path of Krishna Consciousness, yet still she was not protected from the danger and she got martyred. What possible explanations can be of this? I am quite confused and bewildered about this, please guide me prabhu…
Protected from the greatest danger means being protected from falling back into the animal species or going to hell, like in the case of Ajamila. Even if a devotee falls at some point, he or her is protected, and Kṛṣṇa makes arrangements for him or her to continue in the next life.
More important, Kṛṣṇa makes arrangements for his devotee to go back to Godhead as soon as possible.
Everyone dies, and death can come in many ways according to so many factors. The point is not death but the destination after death.
