Although we have the opportunity of practicing Kṛṣṇa Consciousness, we don’t become completely free from material conditioning overnight. On the contrary, it can often beat us even stronger.
Thank you very much, Prabhuji, I really needed this article at this moment. Could you please write about living spiritual life with OCD? I am an unsure neophyte facing a lot of mental difficulties.
Hare Krsna! I'm not very qualified in terms of treating psychological issues; I just try to share a few things I know. But, in general, all types of anxiety come from fear. Fear comes from identifying with the body and mind, which can be treated by a combination of spiritual practice, philosophical introspection, and professional help by some professional that is familiar with the other two. I can't offer professional help, but I hope to help with the part of philosophical introspection.
Hare Krishna prabhuji...I also want to add that it is generally the case, specially here in India, that people are seriously deficient in vitamin d. Vitamin d deficiency is also a cause for depression or depression like symptoms. With vitamin d vitamin k2, Magnisium, zinc are also important for it's proper functioning...people must get their blood test done..most are deficient in many things and they don’t know it...on top of this people have poor gut health and overall poor lifestyle that increases tamo guna and increase possibility of depression.
Beautifully clear and so important. Thank you Sir 🙏🏼
You are welcome prabhu!
