Hare Krishna, please accept my humble obeisances. I have one question.

In thise post on verse SB 5.26.14 it is mentioned that sun heated from above very much on copper flore. Thise raised my question. Since hellish planets are possitioned as lowest in universe and still have sun light, at least thise one, how so that lower planetary sistems like Sutala, Atala, .... and others not have sun lights? If thise lower planetary sistems are planets and not subterranien realms under Bhumandala how they dont have sunlight and even hellish planets positioned lower than them have sunlight?

How to understand thise properly?

Hare Kṛṣṇa Prabhu, my humble obeisances! THe hellish planets are actually quite close to the sun in the vertical axis. The sun is just 100.000 yojanas above the plan on Bhu-mandala, and the hellish planets are a little less than 100.000 yojanas below it, so they are not much furter from the sun than us. Also, the lower planets are subterranean in the sense the inhabitants live below surface, and not that they form a level of solid ground. But the point in the case of this particualr planet is that the heat comes from beneath the crust, not from the sun.

Hare Krishna. My humble obeisances.

Thanks for informations about distance. So if i understand wright about lower planetary sistems is, they are planets, but inhabitans live underground, is that so?

That's how I understand it. Prabhupada came to this conclusion after many years, that the planetary systems are not solid disks, but planetary systems. In the book I also raise the possibility of the lower planets appearing in our gross dimension as rogue planets, exoplanets that don't orbit a star.
