Hare Krsna Prabhuji

“the spiritual master plays the role of a genuine representative of Srila Prabhupada, who teaches the disciple and connects him to Srila Prabhupada, assuming the responsibility of keeping him connected to the paramparā and thus allowing him to be delivered by Srila Prabhupada and the previous ācāryas. “

Sounds like ritvik to me, I dont agree with the point that Ritvik are just preists and they don’t take any responsibility of connecting a disciple to parampara. Ritvik must be a bona fide disciple of Prabhupad.

This post sounds very biased, probably cause you yourself are from Guru voting system

I apologise if I offended you in anyway. I am not a ritvik nor guru follower. I am just trying understanding which one is correct. Sometimes I feel both are same, but are using different vocabulary

I don't know if there are any disciples of Prabhupada giving ritvik initiations, what we normally see are devotees who were already initiated in the system, giving initiations to others. So we have one who is not properly connected, supposedly initiating another, who will later initiate another in an ad-hoc manner. This is to the parampara what communism is to varnasrama.

Hari Bol Prabhuji,

I know about this subject since a long time. Because of own experiences, I thought Ritviks are on the correct platform. Then I meet devotees like Venugopal Das, Gauranga Ishvara Das, Amogh Lila Das, you yourself and so many others who are initiated by ISKCON GBC Guru. I like your preaching, it is nice to hear. Then we can talk about your website ccdas.net! What a service. I am subscribed to it and cannot do enough dandavat pranams for the sharing of your knowledge. Thanks to you and others, I refrain from this debate from now and try to somehow bring both camps together if it is possible. If not, I will take the honey from both camps. Again thank you so much for this website. Hare Krishna.
