We just completed the second chapter in the course of the Bhagavad-gītā. If you are following the lessons, by now you know in detail the difference between the soul and the body, how bodily identification distorts our understanding of reality, the process for obtaining transcendental knowledge, how attachment develops into the lust and anger that keep us conditioned, why renunciation by itself does not free us from karma, how buddhi-yoga transforms action into a process of self-realization, why sense control requires higher spiritual realization, what characterizes a person in transcendental consciousness, and so on.
If you are not following, it’s not too late. You can start from the first lesson and try to catch up. If you keep following the lessons, in a few months you will have studied the entire Gītā in detail and gained a clear understanding of its conclusions. The Bhagavad-gītā is one of the most important books we can study, and properly understanding it can have a profound transformative effect on our spiritual lives. The course is open to everyone.
If you want to go ahead, there is also a PDF of the completed first volume available for subscribers on the upcoming books page. You can download your copy there.
Another piece of news: I just uploaded the current manuscript of the second volume, including the completed chapters seven and eight. Subscribers can also check the current manuscript and see how the second volume is progressing.
